ABOUT DREAM IT BE IT
The Soroptimist International Dream It * Be It program is a signature program aligned with the Live Your Dream program.
Our Dream It * Be It seminar focus group participants included girls ages 11- 13 or 14 - 17. (Signed Parental consent is required)
The primary focus of our Dream It * Be It seminar is to provide a discussion forum allowing our volunteers an understanding of your specific goals, requirements to reach your goals and to develop a pathway to assist you in achieving your goals and fulfill your dreams.
Soroptimist International of Havre de Grace volunteers schedule yearly seminars to provide registrants assistance and direction in effort to help remove barriers preventing you from achieving your dreams, help explore careers option requirements, create achievable goals, overcome obstacles & turn failure into success and put your dream pathway into action.

ABOUT BGAP
Our Soroptimist International Big Goal Accelerator Program (BGAP) provides necessary resources to girls and women in Harford and Cecil county by increasing access to education for the women, focusing on women experiencing obstacles, and increases their economic empowerment by improving their skills for employment.
Ongoing obstacles facing women and girls in the Harford and Cecil County communities making access to education more difficult are:
• Poverty
• Racism
• Teen pregnancy
• Being a foster care youth
• Trafficking
• Single Parenting
• Substance abuse disorder
• Violence
These Soroptimist International of Havre de Grace programs follow established procedures and guidelines established by our parent organization, Soroptimist International of America.
